Sandy & Oliver’s portrait photo session… with snowy! {Melbourne family photographer}

Friday, October 24th, 2008

I often get asked if people can include their pet in their photo session. And I always answer: Of course, why not?!  So when Sandy & Oliver mentioned that their dog snowy was like their baby, it seemed not fair to include him in their photo session!
Sandy and Oliver run a web development company called webfolio.  This includes working with small businesses to develop awesome websites.
They were great fun to photograph and real naturals in front of the camera!
The following photos are a small preview from their session.

PS I’m trialing a new feature where you can vote for your favourite image posted from a session, so try it out!

Annette’s birthday family photo session {Melbourne Children’s photographer}

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

Annette’s friends got together and gave her one of my photo session gift certificates for her birthday. How thoughtful are Annette’s friends!? So last weekend I photographed Annette and her family. Her two girls are absolutely adorable and even though Eloise’s word of the minute is ‘no’, I got some great cheeky photographs of her.

So here is a sneak peak from their session:

What is a “trash the dress” session?

Monday, October 6th, 2008

To some, the term “trash the dress” may sound scary or even a little crazy! But basically a trash the dress session with me can be as crazy as you want it to be.

Basically, you don’t have to literally “trash your wedding dress”, it might be just a photo session where you can be slightly more daring then you could be on your wedding day.

It gives you a chance to do some photos which might get your dress just a little dirty right through to soaking wet.  It’s completely up to you, on how far you go! What is a trash the dress session?

Some people say that it can act as a de-stressor after being a bride , others look at it as just great fun and a chance to get some really artistic and different photographs.

Don’t worry, if you are a little bit timid, and don’t want to go “all the way” contact me and I’ll talk to you about how great dry cleaners can be!

We can arrange trash the dress photo sessions with just the bride or the bride and groom.
