German-born Corinna wanted to show her European family and friends a truly authentic Australian experience, which is why she and her fiance Peter settled on the rustic Emu Bottom Homestead as a venue. They got even more than they bargained for when kangaroos showed up after the ceremony, thrilling the German guests.
Corinna entrusted her German bridesmaids to pick out their own dresses, which they did beautifully with the help of a dressmaker friend. The three girls looked lovely in Easter egg-pastels.
After the reception, the newlyweds and their guests hopped on a party bus and headed to Peter’s brother’s café in Carlton, where they danced until 6 a.m. Corinna and Peter always wanted to throw a major party to celebrate their marriage, and that’s just what they did!
“Lizzy C was amazing on the day and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed,” Corinna later shared. “All throughout the day she was so dedicated to capture all the important moments and her assistant Clara was fantastic too! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, we couldn’t have made a better choice and we can’t wait to see the pictures!”
