This week I photographed my very cute second cousin, Riley. He is the first offspring from any of my cousins so you can imagine everyone is super excited to watch him grow. I don’t get to see Riley very often as he lives in regional NSW, so I was super pleased when his mum Trisha asked me to photograph him while they were down in Melbourne visiting. I can’t believe how much he has grown already! He is the cutest ( I may be slightly biased) and most smiley happy baby.

Recently I photographed Michelle, Robert and David. The session was a gift for Michelle from her work colleagues.
Seven month old David is absolutely georgeous and has big brown eyes and lovely long eyelashes (it is always the boys!) He can also crawl at exceptional speed but we still managed to catch some photos of him (momentarily) in the one spot.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Jacobsen family. Freya who has the most amazing blue eyes was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Apparently, she’d kept mum and dad up all night, but I wouldn’t have known. We didn’t see a single grumble, cry or even whimper during the entire session! Freya is 6 months old, which is a fantastic age to photograph babies.

You know your job isn’t half bad when you come home from and your shoes are full of sand. How can I not love what I do?
I had an absolutely fantastic morning photographing the Crombie family. Lovely little Tyler is an adorable kid with a beautiful personality, a definite reflection of his parents!
There are a few of the photos from the session, playing on the beach, flying like an aeroplane and exploring the trees looking for monkeys …
Glenn and Nic, I think the first one might be a good one for his 21st!

Havana, Cuba.
Tuesday, February 10th, 2009I use this blog to not only post my wedding and portrait photography but my own personal & travel photographs. If you follow this blog you will see that I’ve been posting photos intermittently from my recent honeymoon in Central America (including Havana, Cuba.)
The architecture in Havana is fascinating, there is an amazing mix of grand art deco mixed in with soviet block style buildings. Most are falling down and in need of repair, others (usually of national importance) are preserved as if built yesterday.
