An Encore St Kilda Wedding

The morning of Annie and Vien’s wedding, we were welcomed into Annie’s family home for a traditional tea ceremony. When we arrived, the household was already bustling with activity as children scurried around and the food was being laid out. It was a relaxing, intimate way to begin the couple’s wedding day.

Annie looked beautiful in her traditional red dress, which she wore that morning when we wandered down to a local park where she’d played as a child. Afterward, she changed into a white gown for the civil ceremony.

The main event was held at Encore on St. Kilda Beach in Melbourne, a rooftop venue with breathtaking views of the sea baths and the busy beach below. The sun was shining brightly, warming the guests as they sipped their pre-dinner cocktails.
When the guests headed inside for the reception, we slipped away for a quick photo session on the sand. The crowds had thinned but the air was still balmy, providing the perfect atmosphere to photograph the happy newlyweds.
