Bonnie came along to one of our Special Professional Portrait Shoot days. We hold these days about once a month. They are for professional people who want professional and personable profile portraits. Doing it this way means that we can fill a studio day, making it cost effective for people who are after individual head shots.
What do you do? Tell us a bit about what you do.
I am qualified as a Dietitian and practiced in a hospital for about 5 years. It was a really rewarding career as I got to work with some amazing people, both staff and patients, who inspired me with their resilience under difficult circumstances. More recently, I work on digital health projects including implementing electronic medical records that transform the way care is provided to patients in a hospital.
Tell me about how you got into your field.
I always wanted to work in healthcare and I enjoyed food and nutrition so I studied Nutrition and Dietetics to become a dietitian.
A few years ago I was practicing as a Dietitian in a hospital who were implementing an electronic medical record. I met someone on the electronic medical record project team who inspired me to take the leap into applying for a role as a business analyst on the team and I’ve never looked back.
What is the best piece of career advice you’ve received?
Choose a career that allows you to use your strengths, most people enjoy work that they excel in.
Why did you choose to have professional profile photos taken and what will you use your portraits for?
I chose to have professional profile photos taken to update my LinkedIn profile photo as the one I was using was quite outdated and poor quality.

Tell us about your experience working with her. Were you happy with the results of your shoot?
My experience with Lizzy was fantastic, we had to reschedule due to COVID and she was very flexible with re booking a shoot date. Lizzy made me feel very comfortable during the shoot, keeping me talking and laughing the whole time. This showed in the finalised photographs which I was very happy with as I feel like they captured my personality and looks accurately.
